Sports
Worcester College Football Club is the biggest and by far and away the best sports club at Worcester. It is a brilliant 100 person strong community made up of three men's teams and a women's team. We boast some of the best on site pitches amongst Oxford colleges, with the opportunity to play here only potentially rivalled by playing at Anfield or the Bernabeu- probably not as good.
There is football for everyone to get involved irreseptive of one's experience or competitiveness. Our 1st teams play at a very decent standard with league and cup games agasinst other colleges always being fiercely contested. 2nd and especially 3rd team football offers a more relaxed experience which is open to all to get involved with. All games are refereed and played on proper pitches offering you the chance to play organised football up to 4 times a week.
Beyond football, the club has an excellent social side with weekly social events alongside other colleges being organised. This makes involvement in the club an excellent way to get involved in college life meeting great people along the way.
Worcester College Boat Club (WCBC) welcomes all regardless of previous athletic ability, and we take great pride in the fact that many of our winning crews are predominantly athletes who learned how to row at Worcester. Some of you will be perennial sportspeople looking for their next challenge, others will have bounced off sport previously, but maybe now you are looking to try something new - whoever you are, the coaching team here will help you achieve your personal goals.

Music
The college choir is one of the most unique and enjoyable experiences of studying at Worcester. They are involved in numerous services every week as well as putting on termly concerts, usually in our stunning chapel. They are definitely worth getting involved with, whether that is becoming part of the choir or attending a few of their events. If you wanted a more low-committment option, there is also the Allsorts choir, made up of Worcester college staff and students that run weekly sessions with snacks afterwards!

Founded in 2024, the Worcester College Geological Society is for all the rock enthusiasts within college. Worcester has plenty of geological wonder without ever having to leave the grounds: magnificent Jurassic oolitic and bioclastic limestone walls; gravel paths filled with belemnites, crinoids and other fossil fragments; and the most lacustrine accommodation space of any college (Earth Science jargon for 'has a big lake').
Whilst the society may be very young, geology at Worcester has a long history (on human timescales), being taught here for over a century. If you have any information about the history of geosciences in college we'd love to hear from you!
Come and join us to marvel at the geology that Worcester, Oxford and the planet has to offer, with geoscience academic support, cool rocks to look at, and occasional trips to the bar.

Every Sunday at 9pm, the bar fills up with students and professors alike for the weekly quiz. Rounds on pop culture, riddles, music and the infamous 'Crash and Burn' mean there's something for everyone. Teams play for bragging rights, satisfaction, and apparently prizes (they're not worth it)
