EDI Fund
The EDI fund is open to any student at Worcester college, and aims to fund initiatives/activities that helps foster increased equality, diversity and inclusion. It is open once a year to apply for funding. In the past, this has helped kickstart the now-extremely successful termly BAME Drinks event, the provision of anti-spiking drink covers and various workshops for underrepresented and international students.
Thrive Fund
The Dr Ateh Jewel Education Foundation Thrive Fund is intended to give students of Black heritage at Worcester an opportunity to make the most their time at university without financial constraints being an issue. Example of uses of the fund are for the purchase of sporting equipment, funding towards ball tickets etc.
Book Bursaries
Worcester college offers yearly book bursaries for all undergraduate students. This is to aid in purchasing books that are complementary to a student's course.
Field course and dissertation bursaries
For students with compulsory field courses (Biology, Earth Sciences, Geography), funding is on offer to go towards the costs of completing them.
Language learning
College normally reimburses 50% of the course fee paid for the undertaking of a Fast-Track or General Language course after completion.
Oxford Blue
Students who recieve an Oxford sporting blue (being a member of a university sports team) recieves an annual award from the college.
Travel grants
Worcester college offers travel grants for academic-related activities. You will be required to write a report from your travels!
Vacation grants
If you needed to remain in Oxford outside of term time because of exams or exceptional welfare/financial reasons, the college offers grants to do so.
